Who knew the craziness 2020 had in store for us. As a travel company it really has turned our world upside down. While we have been home for the last few months staying safe and social distancing we have been dreaming of the day we get to travel again. Now as things are beginning to open up and people are ready to travel again we as a company want to make sure we do so in a way that is safe for our travelers and for the locals as well.
Coast to Costa started as a way to bridge cultures and bring people together. At a time when the US feels so divided we take pride in being able to connect people so we are very excited to get right back to it. While wearing a mask has somehow turned into a stance on political parties we don’t feel safety should be associated with politics at all, but rather common courtesy and respect for the safety of all others. As the airlines have required, we will also require masks indoors and whenever in an area with others less than 6 feet away. Your safety and that of our amigos (trip hosts) that we visit in other countries is our highest priority. We have outlined below how we intend to continue to travel this beautiful world of ours while staying safe during this time.
Masks and sanitizer will be provided for all our travelers
Masks required when in any enclosed space
Maintain social distancing (6 ft)
Our amigos (trip hosts) and drivers will be required to wear masks
We will only use hotels, B&Bs, restaurants, bars, etc that are Covid compliant
Group activities and meals will be outdoors as much as possible
Capped group size
We will screen all travelers pre-trip who are showing any symptoms to remain home and reschedule for a later date
We are offering discounted rates for single supplement rooms
We are truly excited to be traveling with all of you again very soon. We assure you that when we do, it will be the safest and best experience possible. We will continue to update our website with any changes. Thank you for all your support through this!
